Ways to Help
Sixty-five volunteers donate thousands of hours each year. We have nineteen board members, a fundraising committee, a nominating committee, a finance committee, an executive committee and many bingo volunteers. We also use volunteers in our administrative offices, our classroom, on the work floor and when taking clients on community outings.
Volunteers
Volunteers are the lifeblood of any non-profit. We could not survive without the countless hours donated to us by our dedicated group of volunteers. Please make a difference and give the gift of time.
Production Assistant
This position helps our clients perform various packaging and assembly jobs. Volunteers will help keep workstations supplied, assist with quality control and maintain client production records.
Arts & Crafts Teacher
Share your knowledge of a favorite art or craft with adults with disabilities.
Donations
Donations are crucial to the well being of our agency and the people we serve. All financial contributions, goods or services donated are tax deductible according to tax laws.
Holiday AppealFor the 2012 Holiday Appeal, we hope to raise funds to purchase various much needed items throughout the program. They include Sara-Lifts (toileting equipment), weather-appropriate clothing for our clients, iPads for use in our Day Services, Education and Work Services to run adaptive equipment or to help defray client transportation costs.
This year, we were thrilled to receive a challenge grant from an anonymous donor. We must raise $15,000 during this holiday appeal drive to receive an unrestricted $5,000 grant. Won't you please consider helping us? Click HERE to see our 2012 brochure.
