This is the true outcome for the vast majority of people with disabilities, once s state decides to close down sheltered workshops. Yes, some people with disabilities perhaps even up to a third, may be able to find work in the community.

But what about the rest? For all the talk about protecting safety nets, NYS sure picked a strange item to cut. For those who want to find work - yes, great. Help them do it. But for the rest who thrive in workshops, don't destroy their lives!
